MiddleNorth Productions’ teams can be as small or as large as is required to successfully complete the project. Teams include artists in every facet of the business from: wordsmiths, to production crew, to talent, to post production specialists. David D Sinclair

Owner, Writer/Producer

Honours Diploma in Radio/TV Arts, Niagara College
Extensive experience in commercial and educational broadcasting including: studio ops, production VTR, on-air ops, programming, scheduling, editing, writing, budgeting, producing, managing, directing, project managing, promotion, photography - whatever it takes to get the job done.
Award winning writer in children’s TV production and producer/director in Station Identification. Writer/Producer for Knowledge Network. Manager of Broadcast Design and Promotion for Knowledge Network. Multi-platform and multi-discipline, digital point of view.
Recent clients include: Northwest Community College, Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources, Smithers Exploration Group, The City of Terrace, R. Price & Sons Custom Cabinetry & Millwork, NWCC School of Exploration & Mining, and Knowledge Network.

AVID Editor, AVID Trainer, HD Expert, DVD Authoring
Diploma in Media Technologies, Capilano College.
Freelance generalist for 4 years, studio, EFP, VTR, master control.
Staff AVID editor for Knowledge Network before working extensively as a freelance non-linear editor.
Created Digitally Driven Post Production in 1999 offering full service post production and AVID training. In 2004 branched into web design, DVD Authoring, and corporate video production. Spearheading HD production and edit system research for Force Four.

Nominated for Gemini 2006 for his editing work on The Shopping Bags Tony also edited Rock & Roll Kid, which won the 2007 Leo Award as best doc in Performing Arts.

George Colmer

EFP Specialist – Director, Camera, Lighting, Audio
Diploma in Media Technologies, Capilano College. Production generalist for studio or EFP in single or multi-camera shoots, solid performer at camera, lighting, DOP, audio, and directing. Broad practical experience with camera equipment ranging from prosumer level through digiBETA to the latest in HD technology.

Owns his own Sony EX3 High Definition Camera complete with supporting EFP equipment. Professional experience ranges from corporate video, to commercials, to documentaries and features.
Clients include: Global TV, Orca Bay, Knowledge Network, CTV, CityTV, BC Lions, MJM Productions, Channel M, APTN, TSN and MiddleNorth Productions.

Computer Graphics Specialist, Animator
Diploma in Animation and Video graphics, Vancouver Film School.
Software trainer for Vertigo 3D, servicing Canada, the US, and Mexico.
Established Cybereyes in 1994. Extensive experience taking corporate projects from concept to completion, including: creative concepts; storyboarding; shooting production video; producing; editing; audio post; and, outputting to tape, DVD, or the net. High Definition 2D and 3D animation specialist.
Clients include: Knowledge Network, Province of BC, BC Ministry of Highways, WorkSafeBC, Telus, BC Rail, Department of National Defense, Canadian Lacrosse Association, Future Shop, BC Egg Producers, Habitat for Humanity, The United Way.
